Want to know when 2.1 is coming out?

A couple of very sensible Droid owners asked if there was a way to be alerted when the 2.1 upgrade was released. While the primary notification will be when the upgrade alert pushed to your phone, it is a reasonable request to know when the rollout starts or is announced.

So, when the upgrade timing is announced, I will share it on this thread. However, I am going to lock this thread so you will get no other messages -- no comments and discussion. When the time comes, I will unlock the thread and post the news.

Simple click the "Receive email notifications" button there on the right to get the news when it comes.


You can, of course, continue to follw the many other threads that are discussing the upcoming 2.1 upgrade.

I just signed up for the Moto site and it will email me when the rollout begins. No need to OCD here anymore.

Only after you register. I did so and there was a link. Now the second ONE person gets it rolled out I will get an email.:icon_ banana:

What's 2.1 have that we don't have a lready?!?! I just came over from a BB storm, and this thing in Phenomenal!! How can 2.1 make it better??

Not a fan of Motorola sending me emails, and pretty sure since this site is dedicated to the Droid and all Droid updates, a mass email will probably be sent out anyways as soon as 2.1 starts rolling out.

The Droid Mod team seems to be doing a better job at updates anyways
