I see walmart offering unlimited talk, text and data for $45 per month. They have smartphones and say its thru the major carriers. Anyone ever go thru them?

My sister used them for about two years. They use both, Verizon and AT&T, depending on your location and phone model.

The unlimited everything plan is through T-Mobile.

Walmart has 2 different plans, one is through Straight Talk which gives you unlimited minutes, unlimited texting, and "unlimited data" which is really 2-3GB, for $45 and is through AT&T and T-Mobile. They also have a $30 T-Mobile plan for 100 minutes, unlimited texts, and unlimited data.

They won't work in the Thunderbolt though.

from what I understand the HTC Thunderbolt is the school of hard knocks phone from verizon. only through mods can you update the software. I couldn't even get a prepaid data plan.
