Wallpaper size

There is probably a thread for this, but I couldn't find it. Is there anyway to predict what size wallpaper image I can select? Every time I pick a pic, it wants to crop it smaller than I want it to.

the correct size for Droid backgrounds is 960x854. But, even when you select a picture if that size, the droid will assume that you want to crop it. if you drag the edge of the crop box you can expand the box to fit the entire picture.
