not sure if this has been discussed or not, but for those who haven't already activated their droid or are now considering the purchase of a droid or "advanced phone" may want to consider VZW's new Early Termination Fee of $375. This new E.T.F. will only be applied to devices Verizon considers advanced, and a list can be found here. This new E.T.F. became effective to anyone activating their device on Nov. 14th- onward. Take a look at this official VZW memo:
