Hi i was wondering if there was a way to view my droid on my computer like people view the iphone on their computer. If you could please point me in first, a windows way, and second a mac alternative that would be great!

Thanks,
Kodiarc

I am looking for something like this too. I looked on the google groups site, and it seems that they can pass the keyboard, but no video. None of the touch items work either..

Has anyone had any luck with anything like this?

There is! It's an app called "PhoneMyPC"

Works phenomenally. Been using it since it launched. I believe it's $10 bucks but it's well worth it. Great developer support as well.

Puts your desktop on your Droid screen. Full touch support... keyboard support. Only thing is no audio. But everything else works.

Thanks, but I meant viewing my Droid on my computer not my computer on my Droid, but thanks hopefully we can find something.

That's the wrong way. We are looking for PCMyPhone :) I want to have the phone displayed on the PC, and interact with it, via keyboard, mouse and see it all on my monitor.

I doubt this is really what you arte looking for, but websharing allows you to connect over wifi to the phone and access the stuff on it.

It allows you to stream the music on there and it might also allow you to view photos and videos.

I think that might be the closest out there right now.

It's cool Martin!

So i haven't even found a recent mention of a VNC server running on the phone. I am guessing that devs can install the roms in a virtual box on a pc .. and play with it there. Perhaps something will come around..
