I hear people but i can't tell if they hear me or not. If my friend downloads this app, can we use any of the channels that noone else is on to talk to each other? Like, does it matter which channel we use to be able to hear each other?

yeah what ever channel you to have on, as long as its the same as your friend. You two will hear each other. My buddy and I tried it, the fun lasted for about 5 minutes.

No it doesn't matter as long as you're on the same channel.
