When in car, on mobile network, when @ a stop light, need to view email. Often, after scrolling thru email, after a few seconds, window jumps to top. Any insight or advice on how to cure.
Probably due to the "tap to refresh" feature where you tap or flick the top of your phone above the screen. It is a bit gimicky and it leads to problems like ^that^. =P Go into your phone settings and there should be an option to disable those features!
Thanks all for responses. Don't have "tap to top" or "tap to refresh," but rather "Double tap to top" setting. Issue is that constant, involuntary scroll up to the top of page of an email page is not always present, but rather seems to occur when I'm in my car. Next time it occurs, I will disable "Double tap" setting to see if it cures the problem. Some of my emails have a "^ Top" icon appearing in the lower right hand corner of the screen once the top of the page of the email is no longer viewable -- if that is helpful to any further comment.
Notwithstanding, my hunch is problem could be a memory issue, as I occasionally have functions like voice dialing through S Voice go "dead," which can be remedied by manually opening S Voice app or rebooting the phone.
@Squak... Same thing. That's what I meant. :icon_ lala:
I think the reason why it happens in a car is because it's not as stable. Like I said earlier, it's gimmicky and may translate any movements in the phone as double tapping the top of the phone
