Video podcasts through Google Listen

Considering Android already has a video player built-in, and other podcast readers simply push video podcasts to that video player, shouldn't Google Listen be able to push a video podcast to the video player?

Has anyone heard of Listen being programmed to do this eventually?

Has anyone ever tried to hack it to do it?

I think Listen is a very low priority for Google, I would try Beyondpod the one I use, It's 6 bucks but very good. And a free one Mediafly does audio and video not as good as Beyondpod but had a nice way of management from your computer and pushes to your phone, or you can just use your phone..
