vibrate only gone

Hello,

When I updated my phone to 2.2, the vibrate only for when I receive a call/message disapeared.

Normally, I would just hit the volume down on the right side of my Droid 1, and then it say "Vibrate" and then "Silent". Now once the ringer goes all the way down I just get silent.

is there anyway to bring back the vibrate only feature?

As of now it is gone, there are more options in the system/sounds settings but as far as this much missed feature it would take some hard work on a source dev's part to get it back

Are you sure it's Vibrate only that's gone? On mine, the silent option is gone from the volume rocker. The lowest I can go is Vibrate. I think there were many complaints about people accidentally putting their Droid 1 in silent mode by hitting the rocker.

Yep, mine goes straight to silent, no vibrate. I hate it.
