Woke up to a notification on my Note4 this morning from Vzw for an OTA update.
Ran it this morning, and hoping that it improves my battery life woes.

It's just the monthly security patch. If they're like AT&T there won't be anything else attached that makes your phone better.

I'm afraid you are correct. No improvment.
You get updates monthly? I haven't received one since June +/-
New phone came with KK. I was happy with battery life.
Lollipop came out, and ruined it.
M came out and it improved, then a month later an update came and turned it back around to what it is now.
I may just give up and try an FDR.
