Verizon and screen replacement

It finally happened. I can't believe it. My phone was dropped and the screen shattered. I read something a while back that said that Verizon will replace the screen for free one time. Is this true? I bought it new from a 3rd party. Would Verizon be able to replace it for free in this case?

They will replace it so long as it meets the guidelines. There cannot be an lcd leak, just the top glass.

I thought the screen replacement only applied to original owners. It applies to phones purchased from a third party as well Jackie?

Yep, when we sell one it shows in the system that they have purchased a Droid Turbo and qualify for a one time screen replacement
