Using wifi makes texting messages stop? (on JB)

It doesn't send when I hit send, and I have perfect connection to the network. Even so, it doesn't send. I'm not exactly sure if it's the wifi that's doing it, but this is getting ridiculous..

Anyone else having problems with this?

Check to make sure your background data is not turned off.....

same problem here, its when i turn wifi on then off and then the messages wont send for me. on jb

It is on. It only happens when I am actually using the Wifi (downloading updates, surfing the internet, etc.)
