and to answer the question... some have already been getting the update OTA so no, the 22nd isn't accurate but yes it is already in progress.
 
yes there was an update released recently.

and yes there are multiple and a main thread regarding this subject, please read around the forums before making a new topic. Search is your friend.
 
The update some gotten seems to be a fix for facebook. It is not 2.0.1 nor did it update to a intermediate built number.

Getting the 2.1 update?

Why would a few get it and not everyone?

If it is handled like the last update very few people got 2.0.1 the first few days of its release. Wasn't till after they decided they were not getting a lot of "the update broke my phone" support calls that they did a mass update.

P.S. Yes, I know the current update going around is not 2.1 this is just for when 2.1 is released.
