you could always go he manual rout . do a search for manual 2.1 update you should find it.

Please do a factory reset after you manually update to 2.1. A lot of people, including myself were having difficulty finding apps in the market and was only able to see them after a factory reset. Home>settings>privacy>factory data reset. Good luck!
