This is part of the v2.2.1 update that unrooted phones get over the air. My wife has an unrooted Droid 1 and got the new OTA update and has the new market. It's more for rooted phones like mine that don't get OTA updates to the ROM and have to manually update system components such as this.

I received the v2.2.1 update, however I do not have the new market installed, I still have the "old" market.

Well I finally got this market running on my Droid1 with Sapphire a few days ago and it was working perfectly...until this morning. I was browsing some apps and the force closes came back. Even if I remove it and reinstall like I did before, nothing. Now this makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

Its due to be on every handset in the next 3 months so if u wait it will update by its self

If ur using 2.1 its a beta and 2.2 should update automaticly they changed alot so people cant pirate apps easily well paid search on google and read articles on it
