Unlock without Answering

When my phone rings, how can I go about unlocking the phone, without answering the call. Appreciate all forthcoming replies.

I think you have to swipe the ignore tab, this will unlock the phone but also send the call to voicemail.

Don't know if there is another way.

Welcome! You could set it to send all calls directly to voice mail or is that too extreme?

Yep, you would have to swipe ignore as stated, but I have to ask politely why you need to do this?
