Unbrick the ally?

Got an old Ally I'm trying to restore for a nephew. I lost my thought, and bricked the thing; boot loop on the splash screen. I tried some old methods I'd saved, none work. I did the '5' while powering on, now can't vet out of that. Anyone know of a last-ditch effort to try?

Try using ally RR. Its a recovery tool you can find by searching google. Its saved my ass a few times. It forces the ally to fastboot and flashes a recovery to it. From there you can flash a rom or use a nandroid backup.

Sorry to take so long, but you can close the thread. Got it working. It had been a while, and I'd forgotten a thing or two about working on the Ally. Stumbled a bit, but have it solidly restored to full capacity. Anyone know why, even though I have MANY apps 2 SD, it say out of room when there's MUCH memory left on both internal AND external?
