Ugh Droid 3 are still backordered all over!!

I have an upgrade i want to use and test drove a D3 for a week and love it. Of course everywhere around me is backordered 2 weeks and looks that way online too. Just had to vent!!

My local Verizon said the same thing, but I went ahead and ordered it. Before I could even make it home from the store, VZmail emailed me with a tracking number, saying it'll arrive on my doorstep in 3 days
 
That's good in away it has a large amount of people getting it now keys have a large amount of dev support sorry for the wait though its a awesome phone

Have you checked other Verizon retailers? We have stores in our area called radio hospital that sell Verizon phones. When the corporate store told me they'd have to ship it I drove across the street to radio hospital where they had 10 sitting out. They can still redo your contract and everything just like the corporate store. Most of the time they treat ya better too.

I only checked my local verizon stores. I'll call our local best buy and other retail stores that carry vzw phones tomorrow.

I thought about doing this, but always gone to stores on my upgrades. The upgrade I have due is my wife's line, she never uses it, so I usually do, but her's is a non data regular added family line. Can i do that on amazon without a big hassle of adding data package and then having to transfer the equipment to my line?
 
I ordered mine this past Monday from letstalk.com for $69.99 upgrade and had free overnight and got Tuesday at 2pm.

I love this phone :-)
 
Well I ordered one with a line transfer upgrade from VZW online this AM. I hope it ships sooner than the 15th that the website says on that model, we'll see!

I ordered mine last Sunday from letstalk.com for free and it came the following Tuesday at 2...strange.

Pretty much the same with me. All the stores in my area were out, but I went ahead and purchased the phone anyway. That was on a Saturday afternoon and I had the phone via Fed Ex the following Wednesday, shipped from Memphis, TN.
