Transfer Apps

Hey All,

Does anyone know how to transfer apps from a pc to a droid. I backed up my apps and need to put them back?

Could you explain how you backed up your applications to your P.C. this will help us to understand exactly what you are dealing with

Would sound like you need to do the reverse of what you did to get them onto the PC...

i plugged in my usb and connected it to my pc. next i transferred my files over. I see the folders with the name of all the apps. I attempted the click and drag method but it didn't work. Perhaps i have to re-intall the apps again from the market? I hope not.

are you moving the folders from the pc to the phone or just the .apk files to the phone?

Just a heads up for next time, use astro file manager if you are not rooted, or titanium backup if you are, instead of just copying the files. Titanium backup will actually backup your apps, app data, system data, and your apps' market links. It's a great program, but requires root to work. And paying the few bucks for the upgrade is worth it too.

yes i have root and i have also installed titanium with busy box. gonna backup all the apps now. Thanks again.
