Too many messages dont get sent!

I txt a lot. About 10% of all my messages, maybe more like 5%, but ya... dont get sent the first time. I feel like if I txt someone a long or short message and then instantly txt them or someone else while that one would be sending, that it doesnt go though. I have ahd VZ before but only have had this phone for a month now and had never had this happen that often with any other phone, anyone have any ideas or have this happen a lot?

This happens to me sometimes as well. Im using Handcent instead of the stock messaging app. It seems to happen to me most when I'm in a texting conversation with someone and I reply at the same time their next text is trying to come through. PITA, but doesnt happen often enough for me to worry about it.

Happens to me too. Seems to happen more frequently when I'm sending a picture message.
