As many of you know Samsung has decided to replace the Android OS of the Galaxy Gear with their own Tizen OS. Tizen may one day be the Rom of choice for Samsung's devices in the future, but for now it has been limited to the Galaxy Gear. Until now their have been no custom Tizen Roms for the Galaxy Gear. Developer "skin1980" has released his build of Tizen for the GG. His rom is based on the latest NF1 build, and is prerooted. There are a few other customizations and optimizations like a battery saver script, new bootup and shutdown animation, removed camera sound, and added Android L font.
You will need to be able to use SDB in order to take advantage of all the features. The Original rom thread has a list of all the commands you would use with SDB to activate the various mods. The rom itself is super easy to install, just flash it in Odin. Head to the link below for the download and full install instructions.
