Both the S8 and S8 Plus have larger screens then their predecessors. This shouldn't be too big of a deal when you consider the fact that each phone has a bezeless design meaning they can have a larger display without being larger. The Galaxy S8 is comparable in size to the Galaxy S7 Edge while having a larger display while the Galaxy S8 Plus is comparable in size to the Note 7 while also having a bit larger of a display. In the video we can see the dummies compared to many other flagship devices. Which device size is best for you? Personally I would be much more comfortable going with the Galaxy S8 if the battery were larger.
