This is a port of Manup456's NexTheme for the Motorola Droid X. It is meant to be run on deodexed Froyo 2.2

If you are running Froyo, but not deodexed, consult these threads:

[HOW-TO] Manually deodex your phone. - Droid X Releases - AllDroid Public Board - [HOW-TO] Manually deodex your phone. - Droid X Releases - AllDroid Public Board - AllDroid.org > Home

Droid-X Clockwork Recovery image. Deodexed Rooted, Froyo'd - Droid X Releases - AllDroid Public Board - Droid-X Clockwork Recovery image. Deodexed Rooted, Froyo'd - Droid X Releases - AllDroid Public Board - AllDroid.org > Home

DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for anything that may go wrong in this process - Though with the SBF file now, it is almost impossible to brick a Droid X.

Includes
-Themed Framework and some apps
-Custom NexTheme Font (removable)
-Themed MotoTorch and Ringer widgets

Downloads

NexTheme: Fabolous_NexTheme_Froyo_DX.zip

Default Fonts: Stock_Fonts_Froyo_DX.zip

Downloading the Deodexed recovery image now and then I'll be trying this out.

Do you have any screenshots of the "battery % in notification bar"?

Thanks for all the hard work.

Use the Clockwork recovery method to deodex

that was my guess too. After my install failed, I was trying to figure out whether or not my 2.2 was deotexed. I'm still trying to figure it out.

I followed this guide
How to: Install Rooted Foyo 2.2 via ROM Manager, except I didn't use Easy Root, I used GUI DroidX Root Program - Windows Only - Droid X Rooting - AllDroid Public Board - GUI DroidX Root Program - Windows Only - Droid X Rooting - AllDroid Public Board - AllDroid.org > Home
I used the method found here to deodex my DX. I then installed Nextheme and had no problems.

Hope this works for you.

Hey Fabolous...

Don't know if its your host, but there is an issue with the stock fonts file.

I was able to download the theme .zip, but the stock fonts .zip won't launch into a download from MediaFire. Any way you can PM that to me?

Thanks brah
