Texts not sent or received?

sometimes when i send texts there not received by my friend.he has a droid powerd phone as well i just dont remember what kind.Whos end is the problem most likely on?

Sounds like you maybe having a signal issue. When you try to send a text do you pay any attention to your signal strength at the time. I have noticed that my signal strength has been fluctuating and when it is low my texts do not go through and I will not receive any either. Are you still using the stock text app? I am not sure if that is the problem either but you could try a replacement text app. Two good ones are Chomp and Handcent.
