Texting Trouble

I have had my eris for about 8 weeks but the texting is real so makes it hard to text. I love the all the stuff the phone will do but I'm thinking about going back to the my INV3. Anything i can do to help this. Is the moto droid any better?

What apps do you have installed?

Any Virus or Task killers? If so remove them......

yea i have both lookout and ATK

Mine occasionally does this. I just keep typing anyway and it catches up when I stop.
