Text Delivery/Failed/Read Receipt

I'm wondering if there is a feature for the Droid that shows if a text message you sent has been open/read. I have the delivery report, but that only shows if it was sent to the phone. I'm wanting to go a step further and see if the message has been open yet.

I know my old Voyager had this feature. If you went to your sent messages it would show an arrow if it was sent and then a check mark if it was read. So far I haven't found anything like this on the Droid.

Even if it was an app would be nice.. Does Handcent SMS have this?

In Handcent SMS under "retrieve message settings" there is a check box for read reports. Not sure about stock sms app.

yes, but that's only for mms messages so it doesnt tell you about normal texts

I dont think thats true. My old voyager showed me when the message was received then read. However, I only think this worked with other verizon customers.
