Hi all, I have a stock droidx and an iconia tablet. How can I use the net from droidx to iconia? I tried the wireless hotspod on x they connect but get a screen from verizon to pay monthly.

This is a pretty hot topic in android land right now. There are many other tether threads that go deeply into this topic pro and con wise. I would suggest you start reading those existing threads on this topic first and if you still have questions ask for help on one of those that your see the best information.

If you decide not to pay for tethering and find an app that lets you tether for free just be aware that big red is looking into this type of activity. There hasn't been any "official" word as to what vzw is going to do as far as canceling individuals service or back charging for data they can prove was used through tethering.

It is a decision I, as the last post says, would make only after educating myself on the risks.
