tether or open Wi-Fi

I was just wondering what do you guys think is more ethical?

You need to use the net on a device and the only 2 options you have are to tether off of your phone, or connect to an open wifi connection floating around?

What option would you do and why?

Connect to an open wifi network because its faster.

Open wifi because it is faster and open tethering will not always be as reliable and free.

Right i understand one is faster. But morally what one is more wrong?

Using your phones data or neighbors unsecured router, with out permission.

I don't see anything wrong with using the phone. You support the phone company "buy" using their product. You may need your
nieghbor one day

I have done both. As long as I am not hacking or disrupting bandwidth, I don't see why they would care.
