Task Killer Good Bad?

There are many threads on this if you feel like reading more than you would ever want to know about it, but in general IMHO Moto support is correct.

I deleted it because i found out it would make my weather widget clock not work when it would kill it. I would mave to manually refresh it.

That's because you didn't set your clock to be ignored..

In general Killing applications for the average person is more harmful than good.

For someone who has IMPORTANT services/applications in an ignore list.

Killing applications becomes quite useful.

I simply use the one in Astro File Manager - it gets the job done!

I did a poll on this. The majority felt that it was good, however IMHO the arguments against it were more compelling.

They aren't necessary, you can kill apps by goint to settings/applications/manage applications/menu button/filter/running Then select the application you want to stop and force stop.

i use to run a task killer....it will make you nuts trying to keep stuff off it....i have sinced deleted it and have not run into any problems.....bad
