Had the tablet on the bed. Has the baby on the bed... baby jumps on tablet..

What am I going to replace my beloved tablet with? Or should I just get another, newer, better tablet?

Open to suggestions.

Take it to a shop and see if they can just replace the screen, or buy a new one depending on the cost and your budget.

The capacitive buttons light up on the bottom but that's it. So im thinking the screen and the digitizer will both have to be replaced. I've seen a few quotes all over $300.00.

I saw the newer 8.0 on Amazon for a penny less than what the quote you wrote to replace the screen. Without a working screen I'm not sure how you'd get your photos and such from the old one but it should be doable.
