Syncing with a Mac

I tried the Missing Sync from Mark Space. My experience was that thing is worthless. Now, it could certainly be operator error. But I couldn't sync contacts at all. I paired it with my mac via bluetooth. Then I'd get a message saying the it was paired, but not connected. I tried everything. What a hassle.
Any other solutions out there to sync with my mac?

get a gmail account
upload your contacts into that account
then....
when you initialize your phone... it'll ask for your gmail account
and..... the contacts will automatically be synched
and.....
whether you add to your phone or to your gmail account by your computer.....
it will auto-update all day long

no need to truly SYNC it with your mac
