syncing movies to x from windows media?

getboth

New Member
Hello, I had synced my music from windows media to x flawlessly, and then went to sync a movie.

After I synced it, I could not find it anywhere on my x so I reformatted my sd card, and only gained a few megabytes which leads me to believe the movie didnt sync.

My question is, are the steps to syncing video and music different? Any idea where the video might have gone?

Also, is there a better program to sync other than windows media player?

Thanks

I'm guessing there is a good chance that these movie files are .avi?

Most portable media device now a days, cell phones, ipods, PSPs etc from stock can only play certain video formats usually .mp4 is one of the most common ones.

Now you can convert all your .avi's to .mp4 but to me thats a waste of time and space. There are a couple apps that can play these videos for you. Just google "divx player android" for more info or "RockPlayer" in the market.

thanks, I'm not sure what format it was on to tell you the truth. My problem was more that I couldnt find the movie file was it was in my phone.

I'll try those apps that you recommended see if that helps.
