Sync

Hello everyone. This group has been helpful to me in the past. I am a new droid user and I need to know how to sync my calendar and contacts with my computer. I wish to maintain these files on my computer and download the edits to my phone.

go to www.gmail.com and do it there and sign in with your gmail account associated with your Droid. All your contacts and calendar information is stored there. Any changes you make from your computer on www.gmail.com will sync to your phone automatically.

There is no desktop sync software I am aware of.

There is a desktop sync! If you do the whole thing with gmail then head on over to Getting started with Google Calendar Sync - Google Calendar Help and set it up! It works with outlook and it's pretty flawless.

I have a new Bionic and can manually sync my contacts, but there are no checkmarks to toggle me between auto and manual. How do I autosync?
