Sync Lockup

I know that I cant be the only person experiencing this problem but it seems whenever my phone boots back up or has been in idle for a long time, I see the sync icon appear and my phone totally locks up. Ive been experiencing this problem ever since going to 2.2

Any suggestions to what is causing this?

Im currently on v0.3 I'm about to load v0.4 and wipe data and cache. I recall doing this before and experiencing the same problems. I'll try again though.

I was having the same problem - turned out it was TouchDown locking my phone up. It was just a coincidence that i was syncing with Google at the same time.

Moral is don't necessarily blame syncing with Google bc i would have bet $ on that being my problem until i found out otherwise.

Just syncing...

it's done with me on any 2.2 ROM that I've tried (currently using BB 0.4)... the only thing I have to do is sign in with my google account after a completely clean ROM install (data/cache wipe). Shortly after signing in or right after the phone locks up. Sometimes a few battery pulls works, but usually I just have to let it sit there locked up for a good long while and it finally reboots itself. After it reboots it's self it's totally fine until I need to reboot the phone again and the cycle continues. Can't figure out what's causing this. Something with the syncing is screwed up.
