stupid amazon mp3 store

I think this a factory installed app that just won't go away....gRRRRR.

How in the world do I get rid of this thing. I have Astro and I can't find it. I've looked under Running Apps, Manage Apps, etc. I have the Uninstaller app, but it doesn't list it.

I thought I got rid of it, but I don't need it nor do I want it. It's like it's gone, but yet it's still there. :icon_evil:


Does anyone know how I can find this app and destroy it? Is it attached to the Amazon app in general? Because if that's the case then the Amazon app can go as well.

okay....so I deleted the Amazon app, but the Amazon MP3 app is STILL there. It starts up on every reboot.

Anyone out there have any suggestions or am I beating a dead horse here. ????

You have to root, and delete it manually.

Thanks Ltken....I really don't want to root b/c I'm not that tech savvy. I'm not looking for a $500 paper weight, so I'm hesitant......but I might have to after all.

I shouldn't have to be stuck with an app that I don't want or need. That's all I"m saying....

Okay...now point me in the direction of rooting.....:icon_ banana:
