The iphone has a number of great options. Is there any good options for the droid?
I have videos at home I want to stream to my phone.

I tried Orb...doesnt work very well.

Like DVDcatalyst suggested, there are 2 guides I wrote in my sig that work pretty good. The only downside at the moment is the movies have to be pre-encoded to a Android compatible format, no on-the-fly transcoding at the moment thats actually playable.

On the plus side, with the new video framework on Android 2.2 Froyo, it now supports HTTP streaming with H264 codec which is why the iPhone Orb app works so much better and now Tversity supports HTTP streaming in H264.

Currently I am working with Tversity to setup transcoding to Android but ran into a snag with trying to find the UUID for Android so that the program recognizes when a Android device is connecting to its server software.

More than likely, Orb will beat them to the punch when 2.2 officially launches on majority of the handsets worldwide.
