Strange vibrating since the most recent update

For some reason my droid x's vibrate mode has been really weird lately. Whenever i get a text or an email the buzz goes on for a good 10 seconds, buzzing like 6 times instead of the normal 1 or 2. Do any of you have this problem?

Check your settings. Some of the newest releases allow you to set custom vibration patterns.

What update did this happen on? 2.3.340?

The most recent one I think, perhaps earlier though. Phone had power cycled a few times one day, and this was the aftermath
