stock bb kernel

Does anyone know how to get back to stock kernel for v05? I upgraded to 900 but I just can't live with battery life. It was great before with the stock BB kernel. If I can't get the original kernel back on here I will have to reflash bb. In order to do a reflash, do I have to wipe cache and start completely fresh? I did try going down to the slayher 800 kernel but its slower than the stock kernel. Thanks for any help.

I think you can just reflash and not wipe and it will get you the stock kernel back.

You will need to reapply your themes though...
