Status Bar Colors

Every time I apply a new theme that is supposed to change the status bar colors the theme does not apply that change to the status bar. Examples are the honeycomb theme and the Ultimate iPhone theme. Any help would be great!

I just ran into the same issue on my D2G. Was going to email the developer but then I decided to try to address it myself and was able to update the status bar by updating the framework-res.apk file.

I'm now struggling to update the text colors... Everytime I do it goes into a boot loop. Not even on this ROM, but seems like a VZE problem.

Besides colors...would there be anyway to get the speedometer gauge for the battery meter? I tried adding them to the framework-res.apk, but it didnt work. I also just tried to change the orange circles to green ones, but that didnt work either.

Have to work on this a bit...does anyone have any ideas?
