Startup Problems

I got my Droid X on 10/9 (less than a month ago). It has had some minor problems, and so far hasn't seemed worth bringing in to see about exchanging it. Today it hung on Pandora -- after being fully charged all night and only on for an hour or so. Usually I just keep the phone in sleep mode and keep it charged but someone told me I should turn it off sometimes so it could reset itself or whatever -- I'm no expert. So anyway, I thought that might make Pandora work again, so I did turn it off, then could not get it to come back on. I tried pulling the batter, and it still wouldn't turn on. This has happened once before -- it won't even go to the "M", until I plug in the charger, Then it shows that the battery is 80% charged. If I then push the start button with it plugged into the charger, it will start up, still showing 80% battery charge. This is easy enough to do if I am at home or near a computer, but if I've got a lemon I think I should get another phone! Can someone advise me? Thanks -- Eileen

Since you're in your first 30 days if you take it back they will give you another brand new X, but before doing that try a factory data reset out of your privacy section. See how it works for a day or so, then if you still have issues take it back.
