Not sure really how to search the forums for it, so if there is an answer somewhere, just direct me there and I will take a look.

Anyhow, I am wondering if there is a way to splice music for a ring tone? Example: I have a song downloaded but only what to use the chorus, or a particular guitar riff or solo, as the ring tone itself. Any suggestions?

If you are looking to do this without a PC, most people would probably recommend Ringdroid. I haven't done this myself as I prefer to use a PC to make my ringtones.

If you are using a PC, I suggest Audacity. It's a great free, open-source audio editor.

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder

I use it to cut parts out of songs and loop them to create ringtones.
