Other than paying for a program, like Vignette, is there any way to speed up the camera?

I don't think its too bad for a little phone camera. I am a photographer tho, so I know never to expect much from a point and shoot...

Click to expand... Cool, but i have a bad feeling without a hack/app... I am stuck. I suppose if I could find the right file I could alter the wait to something like .01

The Droid X's camera allows you to set the review to Never, or something like that. Check camera settings. The forthcoming OTA will make the camera software faster, easier to use, and include more features. I'm hoping the picture quality gets better too. Vignette demo is free.

I'm really hoping the update makes the picture quality a lot better. I think it will.
