Someone make CM7 from source?

wondering if anyone could compile CM7 from source for the D1, cyanogen's tweet said it was ready? thanks in advance

The people who normally port CM to the Droid will do it.

The tweet also said that there are none of the CM extras in it. So, since this is a holiday weekend, expect to start seeing it in CM nightlies starting Monday. Maybe.

Nobody has the accelerometer working yet. The software for it is all Nexus S.

I can't believe they'd have that up as a Release Candidate with that much not working yet.

Doesn't sound like it would be any different than what's been out for over a week except for USB. Plus even WiFi works for those. Most likely WiFi would be solved with flashing a kernel over the build.

Sounds more like it's Gingerbread half baked... lol

CM Gingerbread ETA is well you know never ask for an ETA is the word from CM. But if you follow the cmsrc twitter they are working always on something: CyanogenMod Source (cmsrc) on Twitter

Wait till the nightlies start rolling out. Then we'll start seeing the ROM develop (and keep a backup of your current setup so you can swap back for a fully-functional phone).
