Snagging an early upgrade from big red?

Back in August, I had a Droid. I got an early upgrade and received an Incredible, but decided to exchange it because that individual phone wasn't exactly my greatest experience of all time. However, my friend recently got one and after toying with it quite a bit, I've come to envy it over my Droid 2, which I got a few weeks after my tiff with the Incredible.

Now here's where my question and the problem comes in; I had two upgrades, technically; the one Verizon was offering for the Droid 2 promotion, and the one I had by default. Did upgrading to the D2 expend that upgrade, would it be possible to get it back? Or am I doomed to walk the Earth with my otherwise fine Droid 2?
