sms text problem

Hey everyone. I am in the last few days getting old texts popping back up in my inbox. I have already deleted this. The show up sometimes when i receive a text or text someone and its always in the order of the latest text by time. If anyone can help i appreciate it!

are you using the stock sms that came with the phone or a 3rd party app?

its stock now. but I did have one from market. I uninstalled it already.

I am having this exact same issue. I have tried factory reseting my droid which did nothing to help. I'm assuming probably that the issue is that the texts are being saved to the SD card. I'm going to check that out next unless anybody has a better solution.
