sms going to random contact

Anyone else have this happen?
This happened to me the other day.

This could be a huge problem for me.

Yeah, I understand. I haven't had the problem(that I know of anyway) but I keep hearing about how it's an issue that Google has to get around to fixing. But, although it's an inconvenient way of doing things, I would use an alternative messenger of some sort to contact coworkers if it's anything important.

Try using Handcent instead. It's been flawless for me. I haven't used the stock app in months.

I have been asking around to get specifics;
1-do texts get sent to random phobebook contact?
Or
2-does it only send to an incorrect contact that already has a txt thread?

I've seen people mention only having them being sent to people already in the text list. I haven't heard of anyone having it sent to a random contact so it should just be people you have threads with.
And if Handcent doesn't work if you try it or are already using it, you could try chompSMS. Pretty good messaging app. Has ads but that's one of the beauties of being rooted haha

Me too! I like that theme as well
Have you seen the screenshots he's been posting of these "side projects"?
Some are somewhat similar to EliteProHD but they are really nice. He's made 4 or so that I can tell but hasn't released any of them and doesn't plan to on most

I might have figuered out what the problem is.

It seems to change the order of the contact SMS thread.

Now that I think about it, I used to have an issue where a contact would appear to be another. It wouldn't send it to a random person, the names would just change if that makes sense and I'd figure it out afterwards. Been a long time though
