SMS - Email Notifications APP?

Does anyone know if an application that works like this: You receive a message and the message folder changes to notify you that you have a SMS message waiting.

I had a blackberry tour for a few weeks and whenever I received a text or a email, a little red asterisk would show up on the outside of the folder, that way I knew I had a message.

Is there an APP out there that does this for the Droid?

Try this for your SMS. It looks like the iPhone but at least it does what you want it to and it's free!

That's the best one I ever found for my G1, but the images look so sad and fuzzy on the droid.

Thanks for the replies !! I'm looking at the SMS Unread Count now... now I just have to find an App for my email too.

Edit:

I installed "SMS Unread Count" it does exactly what I wanted. When I get text messages, the # is displayed on the outside of the text message folder. That way when the little light is blinking letting me know I have a message I can go to the home screen and see that i have text messages without having to go into the messaging folder.
