Tried installing the theme again and it didn't work just as before. Since other people were not having a problem with this theme... I re-installed BBv0.5 (wiped data and cache 3 times as before). Allowed all my applications to download. Then before I did anything else, installed the theme and it worked. I had installed a kernel before i tried the theme before. But working now. Thanks.

I'll try that. I installed slayher's 1.2 LV first, then the theme. Gonna try again now.

UPDATE: It DID work, however upon installing my kernel (slayher's 1.2), it seemed to overwrite the Smoked Glass. White text still shows up as if it were on a dark background, but the color of the notification bar returned back to stock. Anyone else encountering this problem with slayher's kernels?

Installed, Worked, Then got major fc's on google framework.... Cant connect to anything... Blue Batt was replaced... Constant fc every 5 secs without touching the damn phone. This theme update from .4 to .5 is flawed.

Since installing .5 I've had nothing but issues.
I'll wait till they get solved and revert back to my old rom

Thanks for the theme! Ditto on getting a version with tabs.

Also, how hard would it be to get a version that has a solid black notification bar? The transparency doesn't work with Launcher Pro, and I like a simple bar anway.

The transparency works with Launcher Pro just fine for me. The transparent version on the blue energy theme for BB.04 worked great as well before upgrading.

It's transparent even with the static wallpapers? I had transparency with the live wallpapers, but not the static.

Yep sure is dancedroidwith the static. That's what I generally use since the live wallpapers are cool to play around with but they cause my droid to lag out just enough to be annoying..lol

The install is not working for me either. Only I did not use Rom Manager. I downloaded the zip file onto my phone then rebooted into ClockworkMod Recovery and selected the zip file. It looked like it was installing off the SD card but it happened so fast I had my suspicions. Sure enough, when the phone rebooted, no change. I deleted the zip file and re-downloaded it but still the same result.

Edit: BBv0.5

For those having this problem... Flash sprecovery in ROM Manager and the reflash Clockworkmod recovery. Then reinstall from ROM Manager. Worked for me this time and I've had this before with other rom manager installs.

Hope it helps...

Using Smoked Glass for bb0.4 (notabs) with BB 0.5 - works great. What's the difference with Smoked Glass for bb0.5? Thanks.

I don't recommend using any theme for BB 0.4 on BB 0.5. There has been updates the framework-res.apk in BB 0.5, so if you apply the 0.5 theme you are basically downgrading that, which isn't good.
