Should I up my monitor size?

I've got a really nice Samsung -SyncMaster 226BW, 22", 2ms respose, 3000:1 contrast, "S" panel - 1680 X 1050 resolution, digital PC input. Awesome PQ.

Just bought my daughter an Insignia 26" HDTV/Monitor 1366 X 768, analog PC input, built in DVD player, 2500:1 contrast, 8ms response.

She says it's too big for her dorm room.

Should I keep it and replace my monitor with it? Keep in mind I don't play computer games (and haven't since Quake 2).

I know it's my decision, but what would you do?

I think you should send both of them to me

But for serial, I wouldnt replace a Samsung monitor for an Insignia if my life depended on it. The hit in resolution alone is enough that I would keep it as is.

Why not go dual-monitor and use the 26" as a secondary?
