Sending my Droid back to VZW but have a quick question first, please help ?

I have my droid running the newest Kangerade rom obviously can't have that on there when I ship it back. If I flash the stock 2.0.1 back using RSD lite then ota 2.1 will that have my phone COMPLETELY back to stock? I just want to make sure there is no sign of rooting to void my warranty. Sorry for the noob question but I just want to be positive. Thanks

Yes. Make sure you don't have root apps/roms on your SD card also just incase.

Awesome thanks. Another quick question, if I do a reset and all that good stuff, there's no way they can see my google market account to see that I have setcpu purchased right?

Yes. Make sure you don't have root apps/roms on your SD card also just incase.

+ 1 on this. Format should take care of it. Or just remove and keep the SD card before you send/take it back.

Yeah I'm just gonna keep my memory card but I'm still curious about my market account, will they be able to see that I purchased the setcpu software?

No, they're not going to check that. You'll be fine.

I don't even think Google would allow a provider to check a personal Google account's purchased items.

Awesome guys thanks for the reassurance! Does anyone know what would happen if I sent my phone back to them and they did find out I had it rooted? Just curious

They wouldn't fix it because they'd claim you violated your Terms of Service and voided your warranty.

Well they're sending me a new one then I'm sending them mine, so would they just send me mine back. And make me send the new one back?

I suppose. I don't know how closely they check them. They probably just send them straight to be refurbished. You have nothing to worry about if you just use RSDLite to flash back to stock.
